René te Bogt

René te Bogt (born 1963) studied accordion with Miny Dekkers at the then "Stedelijk Conservatorium en Dansacademie" (now "ArtEZ Hogeschool voor de Kunsten") in Arnhem (NL) and received lessons in ensemble conducting with Fritz Dobler and Hans-Günther Kölz and keyboard with Peter Leutscher. He also conducted/arranged for several accordion orchestras with whom he organized numerous themed concerts and successfully participated in several competitions, including the "World Music Festival" in Innsbruck.

As a player he was active in various ensembles and accompanied Mozart's Requiem in a small ensemble (2 accordions, double bass and saxophones). Since 1987 he has been working at the music school of the city of Ahaus (Dld) as an accordion and keyboard teacher and as an ensemble leader.
