Karlheinz Follner

Born 1968 in Munich; first piano classes when he was 6 years old; in total 13 years piano classes under Roland Leistner-Mayer (classical contemporary composer) and Wolfgang Meyer (pianist). At the age of 14 he started with trumpet and he attended improvisation workshops in Munich. In the course of the years he gained experiences in various band projects (pop, rock, wind orchestra and entertainment). He played jazz in Big Bands and smaller ensembles as well as Rock’n Roll and Boogie bands in and around Munich. Since 1994 he teaches piano and keyboard in music schools and at the VHS.
