Jürgen Schmieder

* 26.12.1979 in Offenburg, 7.2.2018 in Durbach

Born in 1979 in Offenburg; lessons in accordion, organ and piano since he was 7 years old; in 1996 he decided to turn his hobby into his profession; he began his studies at the Hohner conservatory in Trossingen with the main subject accordion under Josef Bugala and later on Silvia Wenke; lecturer for the other subjects were Fritz Dobler, Brent McCall, Ulrich Dalm, Gaby Brändle, Werner Glutsch and Wolfgang Russ; Jürgen Schmieder is music teacher for accordion, piano, keyboard and harp in numerous music schools and musical associations and he his conductor of two accordion orchestras in South Germany; his diversified knowledge is reflected for example in the leadership of the ensemble “Konsequenz” where seven professional musician are engaged in playing popular accordion music; after his degree at the Hohner conservatory in 2001 as a music pedagogue he started further studies at the solo class under Hans-Günther Kölz in the subjects popular music and arrangements;
