Jörg Fischötter

Born in 1956; first experiences at the paino at the age of 4 and guitar at the age of 9 (mainly autodidactical studies); first music lessons at the age of 8; his first band when he was 14 years old, two years later the band played only self composed music; studies at the music university in Trossingen (1979 – 1985) under Maria Ciuk-Celt and Andreas Higi, guitar, Prof. J. Weimer, composition, Prof. D. Hornung, piano. (In Trossingen I learnt to love the accordion. I think it was the "Französische Ouverture" by Wolfgang Jacobi and the incredible piece "Toccata No.1" by Ole Schmitt). Since 1983 he is music teacher for guitar, electric guitar, electric bass, piano, keyboard, band and ensemble guidance, music theory and composition, since 1989 at the music school Renningen, district Böblingen. Numerous compositions für student ensembles (guitar, piano, orchestra, band). Commissionary works for jubilees, promotional jingles, festivals and others.
