Hans Breinbauer

Born 1956 in Waging am See; music teacher studies with state examination at the Richard-Strauss-Konservatorium in accordion (Bernd Maltry) and piano (John Strathern); studies in church music (B) at the Mozarteum in Salzburg: organ (Prof. Heribert Metzger), improvisation (Prof. Hannfried Lucke), conducting (Prof. Slbert Anglberger), composition (Prof. Kurt Estermann and Clemens Vereno); numerous advanced studies for example: accordion (Hugo Noth, Stefan Hussong, Wolfgang Russ); other studies: International Summer Academy in Salzburg and Innsbruck, jazz course in Burghausen, conducting under Lutz Herbig; singing lessons with Cornelia Prestel (MHS Linz); since 1989 music teacher at the music school in Bad Reichenhall; church musician and choir conductor; since 1998 singer in the semi-professional Bach choir in Salzburg under the leadership of Alois Glaßner (music conservatory Salzburg); therefore cooperations with high ranking conductors, orchestras and musicians; participation at Salzburg festival, Whitsun festival Baden-Baden, Bach days in Köthen and others; numerious compositions (choir, wind instruments, organ, accordion, piano); Spring 2004 “Messe in D” for the  500th anniversary of Pfarrkriche Petting; Premiere on Sep 18th, 2004 at the pontifical mass with archbishop Kothgasser from Salzburg; the compositions for accordion should be a small contribution to open and to pay tribute to the accordion world, also for sacral music.
