In an arrangement for accordion solo by Alexander Jekic, 17 varied titles from Irish folklore are presented. The spectrum ranges from typical dances such as jig, reel, polka, march, as well as the slow genres air and hornpipe, as well as folk songs such as the well-known “Mull of Kentyre”.
With the series “Folklore from…” we embark on a musical journey through different countries around the world. On a journey in which you can hear which countries you are traveling through musically based on the melody, harmony and rhythm.
Be inspired by the variety of sounds of foreign cultures and the distinctive musical character of the different countries.
