“Three Cool Pieces” by Wolfgang Ruß is the orchestral version of the titles “Alegria” (Samba), “Red Hot Peppers” (Ragtime) and “Good Old Boogie Woogie” from the solo volume “Akkordeon ist cool 3”. The three titles can be performed independently of each other, but also together as a rhythm-emphasized suite. Difficulty level medium.
The instrumentation is limited to accordion 1, 2, 3, bass and percussion. The 3rd voice and the bass are printed on one sheet as a playing score and can therefore only be played by an accordion. The piece can therefore be played with three accordions (e.g. two students and an advanced player or the teacher).
