Content

A Klezmer traditional arranged by Alexander Jekic; A very spirited piece which is mastered in rehearsals within a very short time. Most suitable for a concert extra. Klezmer or 'Yiddish' music has it's origin in Isreal and is mostly traditional. It is very emotional. 'Freilach' are pieces that are joyful and sweeping while 'Nigun' are pieces that are quite and inspiring. 'Klezmer' comes from Hebrew and stands for unity of musician, instrument and song.

The well-kown representative of Klezmer is Giora Feidmann with his clarinet.
